P8-67F07: The Dynamics of Teaching, Learning and Counseling in Groups:
Group Leadership for Educators

Description: Best practices and research in group dynamics and group leadership can strengthen the role of a teacher and counselor as group leader. Participants develop group leadership skills and intervention strategies to maximize student achievement and cooperation in classroom and counseling groups. Participants reflect on social and emotional group processes that impact on teaching.
They will learn to effectively use intense feelings stimulated when teaching and counseling in groups. (Grades 4-12)
